Unready

When I walked in the door, I thought I was ready, and that my curiosities would finally be satisfied. But something about the place, or maybe the scenario scared me to death. I suddenly realized that I wasn't truly prepared to step into the darkness. The walls felt too close, and the smell of the place so distinct. I knew I was somewhere I wanted to be, but I wasn't the right person yet.
