Invited

An in a moment I realized that she wasn't an ordinary woman. She wasn't from a place I had ever been, but from beyond the stars. As her eyes locked into mine, I felt my legs grow cold and my thoughts began to fade. It's difficult to describe the experience of dying in a way that brings you such an intense mixture of fear and peace at the same time. It was as if I was falling in love with darkness itself.
